East Midlands

The East Midlands is a region of variety and contracts containing many of the landscape types and scenery found in England. There are important landscape, habitat and other wildlife assets in the region. These range from upland moorland landscape of the Peak District through the central farmlands of Northamptonshire and Nottinghamshire, to the low flat landscape of the Lincolnshire Fens running down to the North Sea coast. The gardens opening in this area show the same diversity from large country estates to small town gardens.
